We’re looking for a Regional Commercial Manager to join the team in Hire London East & Central team based in Central London.
The role of Regional Commercial Manager is a hands-on, commercial, and results-driven manager who has a passion for coaching and developing teams, delivering excellent customer service, and role models our Company values.
You will lead and develop the performance of the commercial teams in the Region by promoting the Company’s hire business, including our full range of products and services. The key focus of this role is maximising opportunities and order winning activity.
As a Regional Commercial Manager, you will be accountable for the commercial strategy, as well as exceeding budget targets for contract value, order numbers, and opportunity numbers. You will be responsible for influencing the strategic direction of the company’s marketing activity.
You will work alongside Projects and Service teams in the Region and the Building Service functions, as well as promote an environment of effective teamwork and communication.
What we’re looking for?
We’re looking for someone with substantial commercial experience including face to face technical sales experience and business development.
The successful candidate will have experience in leading, developing and motivating teams, and demonstrable experience in negotiation and influencing clients and internal stakeholders.
You should have a good understanding of commercial contracts, and have tendering experience. The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate understanding of margin control, and have some experience operating and influencing at a strategic level.
