We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Cyber Security team at our international head office in York as an Cyber Security Analyst. This is an entry-level administrative role with excellent learning and development opportunities
that would suit a graduate or college leaver with a computer science background.
Your role will involve supporting the team by analysing cyber security systems, investigating alerts and escalating possible cyber incidents and breaches. You will also provide valuable cyber security support to the business through identifying, documenting and publishing suitable security tips and tricks.
Role Details
Salary/Hourly Rate: £20,000 – £25,000 per annum
Role based: York, YO32
Contract type: Permanent
Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
Role Responsibilities
- Monitoring security systems, reviewing logs and alerts
- Collating metrics and analysing trends
- Completing scheduled cyber security audits
- Completing customer cyber security questionnaires
- Assisting with investigating suspected and actual security incidents and breaches and documenting the actions
- Researching the latest technology trends and security standards in order to write and publish cyber tips for colleagues
- Maintaining the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Our Ideal Candidate
Overall we’re looking for a positive, adaptable and proactive individual who has a passion for Cyber Security or IT. Ideally you’ll have:
- A strong methodical approach to work and an excellent eye for detail
- The ability to develop strong working relationship with colleagues and 3rd parties
- Experience with databases, applications and programming software
- IT Security or other relevant qualification
