In this role you will be responsible for refurbish and fit out the complete range of Portakabin buildings to the highest possible standards, specialising in electrical work. As well as aftersales, rectification and problem solving work.
Role Details:
* Hourly Rate: £15.09 per hour with potential to rise from £0.27ph to £4.46ph based on skill set and behaviours.
* Role based: Edge Lane Street Royton, Oldham, OL2 6DX
- Contract type: Permanent

Role Responsibilities
* Apply lean principles and techniques to help and contribute to your team delivering and exceeding our KPI targets.
* Understanding and applying the electrical principles and works associated with the design, building, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
* Ensure compliance relevant Health and Safety practices and all applicable legislation to encourage and maintain zero harm environment and culture.
* Design and install electrical systems incorporating all types of electrical materials, ensuring that all installations meet current regulations.
* Ensure that all buildings are tested to the required standards, including the completion of appropriate documentation/certification where applicable.
* Conduct fault finding and undertake rectifications of existing systems both on and off site.
* Assist where required in the general fitting out and refurbishment of Portakabin buildings both on and off site.
* Individual responsibility for ensuring workmanship quality adheres to technical specifications in place and divisional standards.
* To support on supplementary process based tasks where required, that may not be directly electrical related. Including the installation and terminations of building works.

Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship Scheme / Indentures (or AM2)& City & Guilds 2360 or* NVQ Level 3 electrical installation,
City & Guilds 2380/2381 (IEE Wiring Regs - 18th Edition) or* JIB Card - Electrician (Must include IEE Wiring Regs 18th Edition),
* City & Guilds 2395 Inspection, Testing and Certification,
* GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent grade),
* Full driving license,
* Strong organisational and planning skills,
* Ability to apply specialist and detailed technical expertise.
