As our next Finance Assistant you will support the Finance Manager by assisting with accurate financial data, reporting, and transactional processes to help ensure smooth and compliant daily finance operations.
Role Details:
Annual Salary - £25,360k - £28,000k*
*Role based: New Lane, Huntington, York, YO32 9PT
*Contract type: Permanent
*Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days.
In this role you will be required to:
*Analyse financial data and assist non-finance colleagues in understanding the financial implications of decisions and issues.
*Support the preparation and reconciliation of monthly management accounts, ensuring deadlines are met.
*Identify and take corrective action to maintain accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
*Assist in preparing monthly profit & loss, cash flow, and capital forecasts.
*Support the annual budgeting process by helping ensure reports are completed accurately and on time.
Expectations
*Monthly management of accounts and financial analysis produced on time, accurately and meets required standards of quality.
*Profit & loss, cash flow and capital forecasts are submitted on time and meet required standard of quality.
*Balance sheet reconciliation are completed in full and in time each month.

Our Ideal Candidate
*A Level qualifications or equivalent.
*GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or equivalent.
Skills Required
