As a Health and Safety Advisor, your role and remit will be to ensure day-to-day HSE compliance by managing accident, incident, near miss and don’t walk by investigations and mitigation.
Role Details:
* Annual salary £32,500 - £42,500 dependent on skills and experience. Plus an annual on target bonus of 5%
* Role based: Can be based at any of the London offices in either Crawley, Hayes, Purfleet or St Albans with travel around the region
* Contract type: Permanent
* Company Car
* Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
In this role you will be required to:
* Lead accident/incident and near miss investigations, ensuring corrective actions are concluded and follow up closure of all issues.
* Support safe operational procedures which identify and take into account all relevant hazards.
* Communicate and reinforce HSE processes and procedures.
* Develop and engage sound relationships with internal and external customers.
* Carry out site audits to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
* Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced.
* Ensure that all necessary documentation and information on all matters of HSE is provided in a timely and complete manner.

Our Ideal Candidate
* NEBOSH General Certificate.
* Knowledge of HSE regulations, processes and procedures.
* Competent in using Microsoft packages including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Able to analyse and present data.
* Skills: Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Communication, Analytical Skills, Problem Solving, Inspection & Auditing, Reporting.
