We are recruiting for a National Business Development Manager to drive the strategic growth and expansion of the Portakabin Ireland business!

Your role will centre around identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and increasing the Company's market presence and revenue streams.

Through your strategic thinking and persuasive communication skills, you will lead negotiations, develop proposals, and secure new business contracts.

Role Details

*         Role based: Donabate, K36 K759

*         Contract type: Permanent

*         Annual leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

Role Responsibilities

*         Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing key accounts, serving as a central point of contact.

*         Identify and target potential new key accounts, specifically focusing on national and global manufacturing companies.

*         Negotiate and finalise Preferred Supplier Agreements and Framework contracts with both existing and prospective key accounts.

*         Act as a brand ambassador by attending trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to showcase the Portakabin brand.

*         Head the Tender Committee responsible for assessing and approving large-scale projects.

*         Utilize CRM systems, Power BI, and other relevant software tools to facilitate transparent and effective communication among internal stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

*         8+ years' experience in a B2B customer-facing sales/business development or key account management role

*         Customer service experience managing the client journey from enquiry through to acquisition

*         Full Irish driving licence

*         Knowledge of CRM systems

*         Sound financial knowledge

*         Contractual and legal awareness and compliance

*         Confident self-starter with excellent networking and interpersonal skills
