Role: Process Worker
Location: York
We are seeking a Process Worker to join us in the Foam team in York.
You will work effectively as part of a team to ensure timescales for completing work are achieved and quality standards reached.
The role will work on Portakabin buildings to the highest possible standards ensuring high standards of compliance with quality, technical specification, customer service and environmental requirements. Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitated.
As a Process Worker, you will:
* Assist all trades working on Portakabin buildings, ensuring all work areas are clean and tidy to achieve a safe working environment and an orderly standard.
* Be thorough in the separation and segregation of waste to meet environmental requirements.
* Ensure buildings are cleaned to the required standard before they are dispatched.
* Assist the safe movement of vehicles both on and off site as required.
* Maintain tools and equipment in order to maximise their use and prolonged life.
* Work effectively as part of a team with all internal customers to ensure timescales for completing work are achieved and quality standards reached.
* Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company Procedures/Policies relating to Health and Safety, inclusive of COSHH.
* Ensure fittings and materials are utilised as a priority without compromising quality.
* Ensure that all laid Quality systems e.g. ISO 9001 & 14001 are adhered to.
* Support continuous improvement to ensure the area is always looking at the best way to carry out a task.
* Assist the safe movement of vehicles both on and off site as required.
* We require flexibility across all our Manufacturing areas to meet workload demands so when required you will be expected to carry out tasks across other areas

Our ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
* Experience gained within a manufacturing / construction industry
* Good planning, organisational and problem solving skills
* Good level of numeracy/literacy
* Experience within a similar role
* Health and Safety Qualification (desirable)
