We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Project Planner (with a construction or building background) to join the Production team at Portakabin in our head office in York.
As our next Project Planner you’ll be responsible for the creation and delivery of manufacturing information to all areas of the production and site. Producing detailed accurate, complete, and timely bespoke data and associated information to support both the Hire and Sales businesses in the UK and Europe, following H&S initiatives and supporting the zero harm initiative.
Role Responsibilities
* Collating information from the Sales teams to produce bespoke manufacturing information.
* Producing accurate electronic manufacturing drawings working to production deadlines.
* Ordering materials to all production areas using SAP (our ERP system) ensuring all lead time KPIs are achieved.
* Creating timesheets to cover all activities needed to produce a building that will form the cost of the building and credit the workforce labour.
* Organising your own workload while working on a project ensuring all your KPIs are met.
Essential Skills and criteria:
* Experience in the construction or building industry.
* CAD and/or Revit experience.
* Excellent practical skills and the ability to learn at pace.
* Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
* The ability to follow instructions and procedures.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* The ability to build relationships across the business.
* The ability to apply expertise.
* Apprenticeship in construction (desirable).
* HNC or equivalent in construction (desirable).
