We’re looking for a Hire Manager to join the team based at our stunning office in Central London.  The role of Hire Manager is a hands on, commercial and a results driven manager who will have a passion for coaching and developing teams, delivering excellent customer service and will role model our Company values.

 

Managing the commercial team in Central London, this role will also be responsible for developing and promoting the Company’s hire business, to include our full range of products and services, ensuring the Division’s Customer Charter is followed.  The Hire Manager  will be target driven with a key focus on order winning activity.

 

Working alongside projects and service teams in the region and the Building Service functions, the Hire Manager will promote an environment of effective teamwork and communication.

Role responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery of targets for the year including contract value, order numbers, opportunities as well as other commercial KPI’s

  • Provide coaching, mentoring and motivation to drive towards the achievement of the commercial areas objectives and KPIs, to ensure performance is maximised

  • Support Area Hire Managers generate orders by supporting them throughout the customer journey, including assisting with writing tenders, co-attending Customer visits as appropriate etc.

  • Responsible for working with the hire centres to  ensure credit control queries are resolved and customers are paying on time, in line with company guidelines and procedures

  • Ensure the commercial team is maximising added value for every opportunity through promoting the full range of Building Services.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Confidence and a great personality
  • Strong commercial experience, including face to face B2B sales experience and business development
  • B2B sales experience in a customer facing role including presentation and negotiation skills
  • Technical sales experience in a construction related industry is desirable although not essential
  • Full U.K driving licence.
