Join our team in Uphall as a Service Supervisor and you will support the management of the fitting out and refurbishment of Hire Fleet buildings as well as ongoing maintenance/ suitability of facilities at the Hire and Service centre.
You will ensure all works are undertaken in a structured manner whilst maintaining effective cost control, meeting/improving upon planned costs, working within agreed timescales and adhering to safe working practices and quality standards at all times.
As a Service Supervisor you will work alongside our project and commercial teams therefore you will be able to communicate effectively with others promoting an environment of teamwork and communication.

Role Responsibilities:
* Ensure the operations team comply with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company procedures/policies relating to Health and Safety.
* Ensure any direct working areas and the hire centre is maintained to a safe and orderly standard using 5 S, H&S Inspections and monthly SHE tour and report.
* Maintain an accurate method of tracking the work program and complete accurate paperwork for all buildings through daily monitoring and managing progress against daily plan.
* Complete termination reports on returning buildings and carry out iAudits on all building prior to dispatch.
* Monitor employee timesheets completed against daily plan ensuring accuracy of booking and service order numbers.
* Assist with transport log and feedback any discrepancies to the Service Manager/ Administrator.
* Work effectively as part of a team with all internal customers to ensure timescales for completing work and quality standards are achieved in adherence to definition of costs, VQA and Portakabin SOP’s.
* Check accuracy of building allocation paperwork, e.g., drawings and specifications. Ensuring fitout is to agreed specification.
* To lead and deliver daily briefings to the team of Operatives.

Our Ideal Candidate:
* Practical operational supervisory experience ideally in construction related roles.
* Proven experience of managing health and safety within construction working environments.
* Some experience in team management.
* Demonstrate ability to work independently and drive in new initiatives.
* GCSE or equivalent level of education, including Maths and English
* Full UK driving licence.
