We have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Coordinator to work alongside our Bid Team based in York.
As a Bid Coordinator you will review incoming opportunities from our Hire Centres across England and Wales, maintaining work in progress, looking at ECR criteria, reviewing governance, liaising with the commercial lead about order winning strategy and checking terms and conditions.
Reporting to the Bid Manager, your role will focus on utilising existing stock, promoting initiatives of excess types of modules, reviewing early-stage estimates through benchmarking, and agreeing potential compliance issues at an early stage to minimise losing orders.

- Salary: £34,000 - £36,000

Role Responsibilities
* Coordinate and prioritise all incoming modular opportunities and have a direct influence on projected margin of opportunities, by providing comprehensive advice to Hire Centres over costing implications and being involved with pricing decisions on quotations to maximise profit.
* Complete budget quotations and minor redraw work as it comes in.
* Liaise with the Commercial Lead about high level commercial strategy.
* Be accountable for governance and ensuring opportunities are qualified and correct procedures are followed.
* Be available for conference calls and to action points raised or ensure those actions are passed on correctly.
* Work independently but always maintaining communication between Bid Manager and Bid Team.
* Utilise Software packages such as SAP, CRM, Revit, and CAD, ensuring that admin is updated with each opportunity in readiness for the bid.

Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
* Design or Technical Qualification at NVQ level 3 or above
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Demonstrable knowledge of Building Regulations
* Workable knowledge of SAP and CRM systems of similar
* Good understanding and application of costs, mark ups and margins
* Produces a range of solutions to opportunities
* Takes initiative, acts with confidence, and works under own direction
* Experience in modular design and estimating is desirable
